ISHAB Future Activities

The International Solids Handling Advisory Board (ISHAB) is an alliance of MHEA, the Materials Handling Engineers Association (www.mhea.co.uk) and SHAPA, the Solids Handling & Processing Association (www.shapa.co.uk). ISHAB represents the UK centre of technical excellence for companies supplying and using goods and services in the solids handling sector.
ISHAB continues dialogue with UKTI regarding events that will benefit the UK Solids Handling sector such as exhibitions and conferences overseas, meet the buyer events etc. Recently, UKTI has produced a UK Solids and Materials Handling brochure which boasts a multi-billion pound industry in this area. BulkEurope 2008 & UK Solids Handling Sector Trade Mission to the Czech Republic
The BulkEurope 2008 Conference event at the Diplomat Hotel, Prague, organised by Vogel Medien Industrie is moving on a-pace. We now have the 10 papers for the UK. UKT&I are providing Platinum Sponsorship finance for this ISHAB involvement. ISHAB Chairman Steve Clewley will be giving the Keynote speech at the Conference Dinner. Associated with the Conference is an ISHAB initiative, wholly supported by UKT&I entitled "UK Solids Handling Sector Czech Republic Mission & BulkEurope Conference 2008".
