Call for papers at BULKEX 2018

The Materials Handling Engineers Association, (MHEA) is formally calling for speakers and papers for its flagship annual event, BULKEX.  Held between 17th and 18th October 2018 at the Eastwood Hall Nottingham, BULKEX18 Conference and Exhibition is a must-attend event for anyone involved with bulk materials handling.

With an emphasis on technical matters influencing the bulk handling industry, BULKEX18’s theme is ‘Shaping the Future’ and is supporting Year of the Engineer.  The conference programme will focus on current and forthcoming opportunities and achievements in the bulk materials handling industry.

President of the MHEA John Connolly stated: “Presenting a paper at BULKEX18 offers a platform for speakers to demonstrate the relevance of their expertise to an interested and informed audience.  Equally, the benefits to members of hearing first-hand specific insights from organisations and businesses in allied industries are invaluable. The high calibre of speakers we are bringing together will facilitate a strong discourse between delegates and further promote better cross-industry collaboration.”

The ‘Shaping the Future’ theme invites a diverse range of topics, including environmental considerations, materials handling projects, case studies and broader economic factors directly impacting on the bulk handling industry. Speakers have 20 minutes to present their paper, followed by a 5 to 15-minute Q&A session with the participating audience.

Anyone interested in submitting a paper should contact Julie Claus by emailing secretary@mhea.co.uk or call the MHEA on 01787 226995.
