Celebrating Success at Bulkex 24: A Truly Remarkable Technical Conference. 

The MHEA President, James Bullock, formally opened proceedings with a heartfelt welcome address that set the stage for another record breaking event. Having served as President for the last two years, in the final year of his term of office, James took the opportunity to reflect on why BulkEx has developed into one of the most well-respected events in the materials handling world and also to highlight just how important our sector is to the wider economy. 

James and Association secretary Linda White worked hard behind the scenes, supported by the Executive Committee, to ensure that this year’s event cemented BulkEx’s reputation for being the ideal platform to bring the industry together and also to retain that special quality of a friendly conference that means business.

Chesford Grange once again proved to be the ideal venue for our technical conference and table top exhibition. We showcased a vibrant lineup of 13 enlightening presentations from industry leaders. Attendees were treated to a dynamic exhibition filled with innovative products and cutting-edge solutions tailored specifically for the bulk materials handling sector.

The excitement didn’t stop there! On the evening of October 15th, over 180 guests gathered for a spectacular awards ceremony, celebrating the remarkable achievements of professionals making a real impact in the industry. With more than 200 delegates over the two-day conference, the atmosphere buzzed with energy as the Excellence Awards where held and the all the attendees were entertained the after dinner speaker Neil “Razor” Ruddock.

The event was the perfect environment for networking and building valuable connections. Bulkex 24 truly cemented its status as a vital platform for industry stakeholders to share insights, explore new ideas, and foster promising business opportunities.
