The BulkEx 26 Conference Review

Celebrating Success at Bulkex 26:

A  Record Breaking Technical Conference, showcasing Innovation, expertise and Industry Excellence.

BulkEx 26 -Yet another Record-Breaking Success for the MHEA!

BulkEx 26 once again demonstrated why it has become one of the most anticipated events in the bulk materials handling industry, bringing together industry professionals for two days of innovation, knowledge sharing, networking and celebration.

MHEA President, Matt Beverley, officially opened proceedings with a warm welcome address generated by cutting edge AI, setting the tone for what would be an informative and interesting couple of days.

In the final year of his two-year presidency, Matt reflected on the continued growth and success of BulkEx, highlighting its ever increasing importance within the materials handling sector and the vital contribution our industry makes to the wider economy.

Behind the scenes, Association Secretary Linda White, working alongside the Executive Committee, had once again brought together an event that reinforced BulkEx’s reputation as a leading industry gathering while retaining the friendly, welcoming and approachable atmosphere for which it has become a renowned place where meaningful conversations take place and real business gets done.

Chesford Grange once again provided the ideal setting for the technical conference and tabletop exhibition. This year’s programme delivered an impressive line-up of  insightful presentations from leading industry experts, offering valuable perspectives on the challenges, opportunities and developments shaping the future of bulk materials handling. In addition this years chosen charity, Tina’s Trust delivered an emotional and heartfelt presentation on the subject of frontotemporal dementia (FTD) which was well received by the delegates.

Meanwhile, the exhibition hall was a hive of activity, with exhibitors showcasing cutting-edge technologies, innovative products and practical solutions. The enthusiasm throughout the exhibition reflected the strength and diversity of expertise within our industry.

The celebrations continued on the evening of 13th October, when more than 250 guests gathered for the prestigious MHEA Excellence Awards Dinner, recognising the remarkable achievements, innovation and dedication of individuals and businesses making a genuine difference across the sector.

The evening was made even more memorable with fantastic entertainment from Phil Tufnell and the ever-popular Neil “Razor” Ruddock, who ensured there was plenty of laughter and a wonderful atmosphere throughout the celebrations as well a  Charity Auction of sporting memorabilia in which Rugby legend Rory Underwood joined Phil and Razor on stage to add to the proceedings and the sporting threesome raised an impressive amount of money for this years chosen charity Tina’s Trust.

With more than 250 delegates attending across the two days, BulkEx 26 provided outstanding opportunities to reconnect with industry colleagues, establish new contacts, exchange ideas and develop valuable business relationships.

Beyond the presentations and exhibition, it was the conversations, connections and genuine sense of community that once again made BulkEx such a special occasion.

BulkEx has firmly reinforced its position as an essential date and the number one goto event of the year in the materials handling industry calendar, demonstrating the value of bringing people together to share knowledge, celebrate achievement and support the continued success of our sector.

And the Feedback? Overwhelmingly Positive!

Perhaps the greatest measure of BulkEx 26’s success has been the fantastic feedback received from those who attended.

Delegates, exhibitors and industry professionals have been full of praise for the quality of the conference, the networking opportunities and, above all, the welcoming atmosphere that makes BulkEx so distinctive.
