MHEA announces BULKEX 2018 headline sponsor

The Materials Handling Engineers Association, (MHEA) has announced its headline sponsor for this year’s BULKEX 2018 is to be Atex Explosion Hazards Limited. The business, which provides experienced engineers, explosion venting, valves and suppression systems is the first of a number of sponsors to be formally announced.

Atex Explosion Hazards Managing Director, Declan Barry, said “BULKEX provides a unique forum for the bulk materials handling sector. In addition to the expertise shared by the speakers, BULKEX is also an excellent networking and business generation opportunity, where ideas can be shared and new contacts sought. Atex Explosion Hazards is proud to be the headline sponsor of BULKEX 2018 and looks forward to meeting delegates this October.”

President of the MHEA John Connolly stated: “Our sponsors are an integral part of the success of BULKEX, our flagship annual conference and exhibition that attracts leading businesses from across the industry. Atex Explosion Hazards is a global leader in total process fire and explosion protection, providing integrated survey, design and engineering solutions for all its clients’ safety requirements. We welcome the partnership with Atex Explosion Hazards and we will be announcing further sponsors shortly.”

The BULKEX18 Conference and Exhibition will take place between 17th and 18th October 2018 at the Eastwood Hall Hotel, Nottinghamshire, and is a must-attend event for anyone involved with bulk materials handling.

Exhibition stand sales are going well, with the call for papers already yielding a high-profile selection of speakers, and the entries for the 80th Anniversary Excellence Awards starting to come in. Entries for the Excellence Awards are open until 31 July 2018 and full details, including the categories and the entry form, can be found on the MHEA website.

The MHEA has also signed up as a partner to support the Year of Engineering, a government campaign which celebrates the world and wonder of engineering.
