Meet the MHEA in Northern Ireland success bodes well for BULKEX 2019

The Materials Handling Engineers Association has held a successful Meet the MHEA for bulk handling companies in Northern Ireland.  Exhibitors and guests alike had a profitable and interesting morning, networking, discussing business and sharing ideas; all said it created an exciting preliminary before BULKEX in October.

Northern Ireland is the epicentre of the world’s manufacturers of crushing, screening, washing and concrete batching technologies. The MHEA organised the free networking event to meet local businesses and professionals involved in the industry.  The event took place on 15 May in Omagh at the Silverbirch Hotel and was extremely well attended and enjoyed by all.

John Connolly, President of the MHEA said: “This was a first for the MHEA and it was an excellent occasion for member exhibitors and Northern Irish materials handling businesses to come together to exchange ideas and make new contacts. This very much is a microcosm of what happens at BULKEX and all members attending expressed huge excitement at the prospect of our main event in October, following the success of this Meet the MHEA in Northern Ireland.”

BULKEX 2019, the MHEA’s annual conference and exhibition takes place between 16 -17 October at the Eastwood Hall Hotel, Nottingham, and is a must-attend event for anyone involved in the bulk materials handling industry or affected by it. The two-day event features a full speaker programme and industry awards dinner on the evening of 16 October.
