The Materials Handling Engineers’ Association (MHEA)

MHEA Awards now open for entries

The Materials Handling Engineers Association has announced its Excellence Awards are now open. Taking place on the evening of 16 October at Eastwood Hall Hotel, Nottingham, during BULKEX 2019, the Excellence Awards showcase the very best that the bulk materials handling industry has to offer.

Entry is free and Awards Entry packs can be accessed through the MHEA website www.mhea.co.uk. With five categories to consider, the Excellence Awards are an essential part of the calendar and a real opportunity for MHEA members and non-members alike to demonstrate and celebrate the very best of their projects, people and ideas.

The five categories comprise Apprentice of the Year; Engineer of the Year; the Innovation Award; Project of the Year; and Supplier of the Year.

Entries are open from now until 31 July 2019 and places or tables for the fantastic awards ceremony can be booked by booking online or by contacting the events team on 01787 226995. Businesses are welcome to enter more than one category and require 200 words giving reasons and evidence for the award entry and a further 100 words explaining why you believe you entry should win.

The awards take place during BULKEX 2019, MHEA’s must-attend flagship event, attracting industry leaders and influencers to exhibit and enjoy a two-day conference programme.  It’s an excellent forum to meet colleagues and peers; to listen and share the latest news, innovative ideas and good practice; as well as hear from leading industry experts.

John Connolly, President of the MHEA, said: “We are proud to launch the MHEA Excellence Awards, celebrating the successes and achievements of companies and individuals working within the bulk materials handling industry. Free to enter, the awards are open to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the bulk materials handling industry during 2018/2019. From ports, power and mining to steel and cement, and everything in between – we want to hear from you, to recognise the talent, creativity and world-class capability of both members and non-members alike.”

For more information about exhibiting or attending BULKEX 2019 please go to www.mhea.co.uk, email secretary@mhea.co.uk or call the MHEA on 01787 226995.
